Attitude
There are three wrong types of attitude that we get used to whenever we are faced with unusual life situations.
First, we look at everything that happens or happened as if it didn't happen. This is the type of bigot.
In the second type, we accept everything at face value and think we know what's going on. This is the type of pious man.
In the third, we can become obsessed with an event because either we cannot forget it or we cannot accept it completely. This is the type of crazy.
There is another fourth type, the correct one, of the fighter. The fighter acts as if nothing has happened because he believes nothing, yet accepts everything at its true value. He accepts without accepting and forgets without forgetting. He never feels that he knows everything and he never feels that nothing has happened. He acts as if everything is under control even if he is shaking in his pants. To act in this way means that you break the obsession.
