Christmas movies

Christmas movies are magical. They are the only ones that still make you feel the Christmas atmosphere, like when you were little and Christmas was special.

When the Christmas movies start on TV, I start to feel the magic of Christmas and I'm already getting ready to celebrate, make lists, look for decorations and dream beautifully about a magical life.

Connections and Christmas movies

They are not the most intelligent or adventurous films, often the scenarios leave much to be desired and the stories are banal and predictable. But that's not what matters at Christmas. It is more important to see beautiful people, happy people, smiling people, people who have no worries, snow, decorated fir trees, lights and colors on the streets, communities that collaborate and help each other. For me, all these are important and for this reason, when I turn on the TV and watch the Christmas movies, life seems to pass more easily, as if the problems are no longer so serious, as if life is more beautiful.

The most important value of Christmas movies is the community. It's what I'd like to see in reality, it's what I haven't seen until now, it's a wish and a beautiful dream that hasn't come true yet and honestly, I don't think it will ever come true.

Truth and Christmas movies

The community of a small town where, from the mayor to the last person, everyone meets and holds fairs, cooks together, collects money for the disadvantaged and has civic sense that, unfortunately, no longer exists today. Christmas movies give you the impression that on Earth all people love each other, help each other, support each other, they give you the impression that we are all good and beautiful, that every problem has a solution, that everything happens like in stories where magic works miracles and everything ends with Happy End.

I sometimes look and cry when I see that people can be good and beautiful, that we can still collaborate and help each other without preconceptions and prejudices, that life is meant to be lived in peace, in joy, in love, in harmony. Yes, it looks like a utopia, it looks like something too beautiful to be true, it looks like a story with Fairies, something that does not exist on Earth. But that doesn't mean that we can't dream, that we can't hope, that we can't try.

Christmas movies are the most beautiful substitutes for Christmas because they show you the snow that actually disappeared even on the North, because they show you happy people who laugh and dance, without worries even if in reality you rarely see a person laughing or a happy man, because it shows you a utopian society that collaborates instead of hating and denouncing each other, that cooperates instead of putting sticks in its wheels and killing itself, because it makes you dream beautifully, it makes you smile, it makes you hope We miss all this so much!

Exognosis and Christmas movies

At least I miss seeing happy and loving people, I miss the snow and carols, I miss the traditions of the historical areas of the country where people not only eat and gossip, but also sing, dance, rejoice and love. Those who grew up with the traditions of the historical regions of the country, cannot forget the carols and the heavy walking through the high snow, did not forget the scones and cakes made in the wood oven, cannot forget the local traditions of the country and above all, will not accept the ugliness of this dull and meaningless lives as normality. I refuse to give up the happy Christmas from my childhood when you went out on the street and it smelled like holiday food and you could hear carolers and everything was magical and miraculous.

Today I only have the Christmas movies left, even if I don't watch them anymore because they repeat and I already know them, I leave them in the background and do my things around the house, clean or read a book, work on the computer, but with the Christmas movies I still feel like it's Christmas!
