Community

Community is a word that is no longer used today. 

We find it in the ancient Essenes, we find it in the ancients, we find it in Christmas movies and that's it. 

They are words that have fallen into disuse as if modern society no longer accepts the old terms "that had a heart", says the shaman Don Juan in Castaneda's books. 

The Essenes are the ones who draw attention to the term community and through their living example show us what the idea of ​​community is. Jesus learned from them and was a prominent member of the Essenes. Essene ideas existed before Jesus. 

The community implies the idea of ​​collaboration, mutual help, support and life together. The members of the community have common activities but also private activities, each family or member has a house, so a space of their own in which to live in privacy. In the community, the members were led by a council of wise elders who were not infallible but ensured justice and fairness between the members, 8 or 10 elders chosen from among the most experienced and wisest members. 

 Unfortunately, archeology and history have greatly distorted the idea of ​​community among the Essenes, maybe being pressured by the Church not to divulge truths that could be fatal to the Jewish and Christian religions. 

Community in modern times no longer means anything to people, unfortunately. Now we call them cities, villages, communes, capitals, but it's as if they have no soul, people no longer communicate, no longer help each other, everyone is for himself, they don't even know each other's neighbors anymore. 

Only in Christmas movies do you see communities that help and support each other, the Americans even call them "community". There we still see what in practice has not existed for a long time. 

My grandmother used to go to gatherings, in the village of my childhood, there the women wove, sang, said poems, made handicrafts, cooked together, helped and advised each other and sometimes the priest also participated. 

Man seems to dehumanize, he becomes a transhumanist, he no longer knows how to be human, to help another, even with a free advice. The communities kept our soul warm and loving heart, they made us human.
